Group Counseling at CAPS
Group counseling is a popular opportunity for TCNJ students to experience growth and change. Here at CAPS we offer a variety of groups throughout each semester because we are convinced that this type of psychotherapy is one of the most effective tools for addressing issues common among TCNJ students.
Please take a few moments to review the potential group offerings for this semester listed here. Space is limited so if you’re interested in joining any of the groups, please follow these two steps:
- Fill out a CAPS Request for Services Form (RFS) that can be found by following the directions listed here: http://caps.pages.tcnj.edu/counseling-services/request-for-services-form/ Note: If you are a returning group member, you need only to fill out the abbreviated CAPS Request for Group Counseling found in the Forms and Resources area of our Online Wellness Link (OWL).
- Contact CAPS. Email CAPS secretary Ms. Rita Ma at firstname.lastname@example.org, call 771-2247, or stop by the office in Eickhoff Hall, Room 107 to set up an appointment with the group facilitator(s) before the start date of the group. During this meeting, you will have a chance to discuss your interest in the group, ask questions, identify goals, and determine if group is right for you.
